Welcome, Hamilton County blood donors! Blood Assurance is partnering with public high schools across the county to host lifesaving blood drives throughout Fall 2025. Your donation not only saves lives in our community, it also helps your school compete in a special one-time blood drive competition.

Schools will be divided into three divisions based on student enrollment, with two winners in each:

Small School Division (fewer than 500 students)
1st Place: $10,000
2nd Place: $5,000

Medium School Division (500–999 students)
1st Place: $15,000
2nd Place: $5,000

Large School Division (1,000+ students)
1st Place: $30,000
2nd Place: $10,000

The more donations your school collects, the better your chances to win. Students, parents, alumni, and staff are all encouraged to donate and make a difference.

In addition to donating at your school’s blood drive, you can also donate at any participating Blood Assurance donor center or mobile drive. Be sure to use your school’s group code so your donation counts toward your school’s total. Whole blood donors can give every 56 days. Other donation types may have longer wait times between donations.
