Personal Steve is a native of Rossville, Georgia. While attending Georgia Southern University, he was also a member of the baseball team. Steve is married to Jan, his high school sweetheart. They have two daughters, Aislinn and Lauren, and two granddaughters, Clara and Samantha. They reside in Black Creek.
