Yesterday - A Public Service Announcement - HD Version: Today, a minimum of 400 donations are needed to meet the needs of tomorrow’s patients. Today’s patients needed donors yesterday. If an accident or disaster occurred today, the blood that is immediately transfused comes from yesterday’s donors, or those who have given blood within the last 42 days. Donations given today are not ready for shipment to local hospitals until tomorrow. Yesterday’s donors are giving today’s patients hope for tomorrow. Don’t wait until tomorrow.
