It's About Life!

In the aftermath of the horrific tragedies our nation has faced - natural disasters, 09/11/01, and the call for preparedness by our leaders - has empasized the need for volunteer blood donors to continue their community service by "giving the gift of life" throughout the year. It is a nationwide challenge to keep meeting the need for blood and blood products everyday.

In Tennessee and North Carolina if you are at least 17 years of age you can donate. Now, in Georgia and Alabama 16 year olds can donate with parental consent. Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds and are in good health. Please donate blood, and encourage others to do so as well. You will experience a fulfilling sense of contribution. And the donation process - from walking in to walking out - takes less than one hour.
