Project Lifeline
Each year, Blood Assurance coordinates the Project Lifeline program.
Project Lifeline is a series of blood drives hosted by over 90 high schools in the Blood Assurance
service area.
Students in Tennessee and North Carolina who are at least 17 years old can donate. Now, 16 year old students in Georgia
and Alabama can donate with
parental consent. Donors must also weigh at least 110 lbs.
These high school students are one of the most valuable donor groups Blood Assurance has.
The students and faculty members supply much-needed blood to help save lives, while inspiring
a sense of good will, sharing, and community service among everyone involved.
Seniors at each of the high schools in the Blood Assurance service area are also eligible to
participate in the
Crystal Green Scholarship Program.
The following schools participate in Project Lifeline:

Kids
You might not know it, but students at area high schools are among the most committed
donors there are.
These young people exhibit true character and community spirit by unselfishly taking
time to donate at one or more of Blood Assurance's many bloodmobile drives held during
each school year.
